Worthing Astronomers
Are proud to be co-hosting the first South Downs Astronomy Festival.

We will be there promoting astronomy for all. Come and see our colleagues who will have various telescopes and equipment on show and some Solar observing taking place in the school grounds.

We are always happy to chat and give advice so if you are thinking of starting the hobby and don't know where to start come along and see us.

365Astronomy are an online astronomy equipment sales provider and co-hosting the event with Worthing Astronomers. Make sure you stop by and speak to Zoltan and his team if you need any advice.
In co-operation with Gary Palmer, they will setup several solar telescopes in the back school yard, weather permitting, so that visitors can try various solar observing and imaging techniques.
From rolling hills to bustling market towns, the South Downs National Park’s landscapes cover 1,600km2 of breath-taking views and hidden gems. Discover the white cliffs of Seven Sisters, rolling farmland, ancient woodland and lowland heaths or enjoy our ‘picture perfect’ villages, traditional country pubs or flourishing vineyards. Let the South Downs National Park subtly seduce you.
Dan Oakley (Ranger) will be on hand for an information and enquiries you may have about the South Downs.
